Rasa Sayang wowed the crowds at the weekend with a showcase of live Malaysian cooking showcase at Westfield Stratford City.
The cooking workshops were a big hit in the busy shopping centre with shoppers and keen foodies, winning over a whole new legion of fans to Malaysian cuisine.
Tuey and chef supremo Cheong impressed the public with a selection of freshly-cooked dishes from the Rasa Sayang menu including famous national dishes Mee Goreng, Rendang and Chicken curry.
Presenter Tuey says “It was a fantastic day with the crowds eager to learn about and taste Malaysian food. All of the dishes we made were gone in minutes with the crowd hungry for more – we really couldn’t keep up with demand. The British public have a passion for spicy food and are adventurous foodies – keen to try out new flavours, they really couldn’t get enough!”
